ATTORNEY
Attorney Lauren V. Iannelli, joined Inman and Tourgee in March of 2019 as an accomplished trial attorney coming from the RI Department of Attorney General and has been practicing for over 12 years. Lauren has extensive experience with drunk driving cases, including presenting continuing legal education classes to other lawyers, and teaching at various police academies. During her time as a State prosecutor, she has handled hundreds of criminal cases in District Court, Family Court, Superior Court and the RI Traffic Tribunal, including gun cases, assaults, murders and cold cases. Lauren also has specific and extensive knowledge of forensic science, including latent prints, firearms toolmark identification, hair analysis and DNA. After handling a significant number of trials, including over a dozen jury trials, she is well prepared and experienced to litigate!
As the Managing Litigation Attorney at Inman & Tourgee, Lauren's practice areas include criminal defense, juvenile wayward and delinquent offenses, general civil litigation and personal injury. Lauren is currently Assistant Solicitor for the City of Cranston and handles the criminal prosecution for the town. She has been hired by West Warwick, North Smithfield, Lincoln, Providence and the RI Department of Health to litigate on their behalf. Attorney Iannelli has handled numerous criminal trials, bail hearings, juvenile waiver hearings, as well as civil and criminal jury trials while at Inman & Tourgee.
Lauren obtained her Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2011 and is a member of the Pawtucket Bar Association and Criminal Bench Bar Committee and is licensed to practice in Rhode Island and The United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
