April M. Picozzi joined the firm in 2013 as a licensed Independent Adjuster and legal assistant to Mark D. Tourgee, Esq. She handles all aspects of personal injury claims including client intake, maintaining client files, negotiating settlements and assisting the attorneys in litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, April was employed at a national insurance company for 12 years as a Senior Claims Adjuster. During her time there she worked in a variety of departments within the company including Towing & Glass, Auto Property Damage, National Subrogation and Bodily Injury Claims. While there she was licensed in numerous states across the United States to adjust claims, which required hours of continuing education.
April has earned designations in both Associates in Personal Insurance and Associates in Insurance Services from the Insurance Institute of America.
